With the NBA Playoffs in mind, the Washington Wizards need all the healthy bodies they can get.
Gary Neal, who’s been an offensive spark off the bench for Randy Wittman this season, has dealt with numerous nagging injuries.
Prior to getting hurt, Neal averaged roughly 10 points on a career-high 47 percent shooting from the field. Washington’s up-tempo offense suited his game well and he was able to get the most out of his opportunity.
Unfortunately, Neal has missed 14 straight games and the Wizards have been forced to heavily rely on Garrett Temple.
