Welcome the newest Wizard, Donald Sloan. According to the Washington Post, Sloan will join the team for training camp on a one-year deal. As he is the 18th person on the roster, he will have to battle for a roster spot.
The NBA instituted a new two-way player rule, allowing teams to carry a total of 17 players, with two spending time in both the G-League and the NBA. The Wizards already have two players, Devin Robinson and Michael Young, who have been signed to “two-way” contracts.
Back to Sloan though, he spent last season playing in the Chinese Basketball Association.
