For basketball fans, the NBA season never truly ends. While the actual competitive basketball portion of the season might be over, the summer is full of activity, starting with the NBA Draft.
As always, there was plenty speculation about what teams are going to do in terms of selecting players and potentially completing trades. Even prior to Thursday night’s draft, teams began setting themselves up for next season by making major moves.
Derrick Rose, George Hill, Jeff Teague and others were all traded before Thursday. On draft day, Serge Ibaka and Victor Oladipo headlined the trades that were completed.
