Washington Wizards Need Scott Brooks To Find Their Identity

Last season, the Washington Wizards tried to revamp their identity by instilling a pace-and-space offense. Prior to this past season, the Wizards were known as a bruising team that played two big men up front, which is the complete opposite of what they did recently.

Randy Wittman was tasked with making the change, even though he never coached an up-tempo basketball team before.

Ernie Grunfeld failed the head coach by re-signing players that weren’t fit to play that style of basketball.

Kris Humphries was asked to space the floor from the outside, despite making a career out of hustle plays and mid-range jump shots.
