Remember how excited you were when the Washington Wizards acquired DeJuan Blair from the Dallas Mavericks last summer?
Blair, whom many Wizards fans wanted for years since the 2009 NBA Draft, was supposed to take Trevor Booker’s role on the team after the forward opted to sign with the Utah Jazz. Blair’s effort and commitment on the glass made him a perfect fit for the scrappy Wizards.
Unfortunately, the undersized center never really found his rhythm in the nation’s capital this past season.
Blair came to training camp out of shape and ultimately lost his spot in the rotation to Kevin Seraphin.
