The Oklahoma City Thunder are get closer and closer to the NBA Championship, making it less and less likely Kevin Durant will call Washington D.C. home again.
Rumors about Durant joining the Washington Wizards have quickly swirled down the drain. The Wizards missed the playoffs this year for the first time since the 2012-13 season and there wasn’t a whole lot to get excited about throughout the year.
Even without Durant, though, the future is bright in Washington.
Scott Brooks will take over a young, dynamic team led by All-Star point guard John Wall, and will look to build his team around the young superstar – again.
