When people think of the Washington Wizards, it’s impossible not to think of John Wall — a player who’s helped save the franchise from the pit of misery that is the Eastern Conference.
Wall, who was the team’s first overall pick in 2010, has developed into a potential MVP contender. He’s improved his jump shot, he’s become the best passing guard in the NBA and he’s an elite perimeter defender. Wall has all the makings of a player who will eventually see his jersey hanging from the rafters inside the Verizon Center.
