The Washington Wizards haven’t had a team with multiple All-Stars since Gilbert Arenas, Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler used to run through the Verizon Center tunnel in the mid-2000s.
Team President Ernie Grunfeld has drafted one All-Star in his 13-year career in Washington.
John Wall, a former first overall pick, was inevitably going to become an All-Star. It’s not often that a player of his caliber becomes available, so Grunfeld might not deserve much credit for taking the Kentucky Wildcat in 2010.
Since then, Wall has played with role players and potential All-Stars, but none whom went on to actually earn that title.
