The Washington Wizards 2019-2020 campaign features questions aplenty, but the one that needs answering most is what kind of player they signed in Isaiah Thomas.
Since the days when he was referred to as “King of the Fourth” for his remarkable late-game scoring numbers, Thomas has been fighting injury to get healthy.
He played just 44 games over the last two seasons in stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, and, most recently, the Denver Nuggets.
Yet even with all of the uncertainty surrounding Bradley Beal and the trade rumors dominating Wizards headlines, it’s Thomas’ production that will prove the most significant question mark for the Wizards this season.
