Injuries are a part of the game and that’s a harsh reality. The Washington Wizards have been unable to avoid the injury bug for quite some time. After signing numerous wing players this summer, Ernie Grunfeld and Co. hoped to have the deepest Wizards team since John Wall was drafted in 2010.
Grunfeld acquired Jared Dudley through trade and signed both Alan Anderson and Gary Neal in free agency. Those three players, along with Otto Porter, Martell Webster and Kelly Oubre Jr.
