The Washington Wizards are trying to make a splash in free agency.
After Kevin Durant officially decided that he wasn’t coming home, the Wizards immediately turned their attention to Al Horford and Nicolas Batum.
Both Horford and Batum are considered two of the top free agents. All of the teams that miss out on Durant are going to pursue Horford and Batum, including the Wizards.
Given the amount of suitors Horford and Batum have, the Wizards have a slim chance to land either player.
Washington obviously hopes to land a top free agent, but if they fail to do so, they could opt to fill the rest of their roster out by adding depth players.
