Washington Wizards forward Markieff Morris was detained at Philadelphia International Airport on Thursday because of suspected marijuana in checked luggage associated with his traveling party, according to law enforcement.
Morris was a part of six travelers that included himself, his mother and four other friends. A total of six bags were checked. One of the checked bags contained what appeared to be marijuana, according to law enforcement. The amount would fall under the category of “personal use.”
Once it was determined who checked the baggage, Morris was brought to the Tinicum Township Police precinct for questioning, according to law enforcement.
