Given the Washington Wizards‘ long history with not-so-good character players, the ones that were terrific in the locker room really seem to stick out.
After a failed rebuild with Nick Young, JaVale McGee and Andray Blatche, the Wizards started to shake things up in 2012. They got rid of essentially everyone on the roster besides John Wall and began to add proven, battle-tested veterans.
None of the players they traded for are on the roster today, but they still had a lasting impact.
The likes of Nene and Trevor Ariza, in particular, gave the team a winning attitude.
