In the early morning hours on Saturday, April 14, 2019, Washington Wizards two-way forward Devin Robinson was arrested after getting into an altercation with Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills. The two were fighting outside of the Opera, a D.C. nightclub, according to the Washington Post’s Candace Buckner.
The Wizards took little time responding to the news and released a short, direct statement early Saturday afternoon.
“We are aware of the incident this morning involving Devin and are disappointed in his actions. We will not extend a qualifying offer to him for the 2019-20 season.
