On Sunday, the Washington Wizards‘ Bradley Beal played in his first All-Star Game. The shooting guard earned his rightful place among the best of the best. Playing for Team LeBron, he stepped onto the court and onto the world stage.
In recent years, defense was nonexistent, thus the NBA increased the financial incentives to make the game more competitive. Each player for the winning team would receive $100,000, while the losing team players would receive $25,000.
Although most players weren’t aware of the increase, they agreed that it would change the nature of how the game has been played.
