The Washington Wizards haven’t had a player from their roster represent the United States on an international stage in quite some time.
Team USA’s talent pool is obviously stacked with All-Stars, All-NBA talent and future Hall-of-Famers. Until recently, the Wizards haven’t had many players that are capable of even sniffing the final 12-man roster.
John Wall and Bradley Beal have both been a part of Team USA’s pool of players that participate in mini-camp during the summer. They’ve played with the likes of Stephen Curry, LeBron James and Kevin Durant, but haven’t been able to crack the team.
