With Wittman gone and Scott Brooks taking over, the Wizards are finally emphasizing the need for player development.
Brooks, who helped develop Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Serge Ibaka, James Harden, Thabo Sefolosha and Reggie Jackson in Oklahoma City, has already spoken about his excitement about working with Washington’s young core group.
