The 2021 NBA Finals are officially underway, which means we’ll be headed for the offseason in no time. Like every other franchise, the Washington Wizards will have some important decisions to make in order to improve on this past season. After starting 19-33, Washington ended the season 16-6 to finish with a 35-39 record.
The Wizards barely snuck into the playoffs as an eighth seed by defeating the Indiana Pacers in the play-in game, 142-115. And even though it was a great moment finally breaking their playoff skid, the jubilation was short-lived.
