The story on the Otto Porter Jr trade may have been written before Jabari Parker and Bobby Portis even stepped on the floor in a Washington Wizards uniform. Given the general resentment towards Porter and his monster contract, just getting that off the books was considered a success, regardless of who or what the Wizards got back. Fortunately, they got some fun pieces in Parker and Portis.
Jabari Parker took no time to prove he was worth bringing in after a rocky start to the season with the Chicago Bulls. In his first game with Washington, Parker provided a much-needed rebounding presence that the Wizards lacked all year.
