The USA Basketball women’s national team finished their friendly schedule before the 2020 Olympics with a 93-62 blowout win over Nigeria on Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas.
In the game, the Americans held the Nigerians to just 30.6 percent shooting while they shot 53.8 percent overall. They outscored Nigeria in all four quarters of the game, though only by one point in the third quarter.
While A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart led with 16 points/10 rebounds and 14 points/6 assists, respectively, it was good to see Washington Mystics guard Ariel Atkins score 5 points off the bench in 12 minutes.
