The NBA trade deadline is coming up on Mar. 25. There is certainly chatter among all the teams, including the Washington Wizards. However, with the team unwilling to part with franchise cornerstone Bradley Beal, there really isn’t much to talk about. The players you see in Wizards uniforms right now will probably still be in them after the deadline.
Though the Wizards are probably not making a major move, they are a bit more active behind the scenes. According to reporter Quinton Mayo, the Wizards are trying to do something, anything. Here’s a snippet from his piece:
Sources tell me that Wizards GM Tommy Sheppard has been “the most active” they’ve ever seen working the phone to acquire impact players.
