On Friday, the Dallas Wings announced that Curt Miller, the former head coach of the Los Angeles Sparks and Connecticut Sun, was named their new Executive Vice President and General Manager. The news is significant because Miller is now one less person whom the Washington Mystics could possibly target with their current General Manager vacancy.
This is not Miller’s first time as a General Manager. He was also the Sun’s General Manager from 2017-22 where he was named the WNBA’s Executive of the Year and led the team two WNBA Finals appearances where the Sun lost to the Mystics in 2019 and the Las Vegas Aces in 2022.
