The Washington Mystics have won two games in a row to improve to 2-12 this season. They also have five days off before playing the Indiana Fever on the road this Wednesday.
The break is good news because star guard Brittney Sykes will be out for about two weeks, dating to last Tuesday’s win against the Atlanta Dream when she injured her left foot. Given that this news was announced after their last game was last Thursday, June 13, and today’s Monday, I think it’s more like a week and a half.
The Mystics also only have five more games left in June.
