The Milwaukee Bucks won the 2021 NBA Finals last night against the Phoenix Suns. This is the team’s second NBA championship, their first since 1971 when they defeated the now-Washington Wizards (then the Baltimore Bullets) when the Bucks were in the Western Conference.
Now that the Bucks have won the NBA Finals, let’s also give a shoutout to Bobby Portis. He is the lone player on the Bucks who once played for the Wizards, where he spent about half of the 2018-19 NBA season after a trade that sent Otto Porter to the Chicago Bulls. The Wizards also received Jabari Parker in the deal.
