After the first flurry of Summer League signings, it was clear the Wizards were going to need to add some more backcourt depth. Now, it looks like they're beginning to do just that.
Washington has signed Sterling Gibbs to their Summer League squad, according to Adam Zagoria of SportsNet New York.
The signing shouldn't come as much of a surprise after the Wizards brought him in for two predraft workouts this spring.
Gibbs has a bit of an interesting history, as some Maryland fans may recall. He originally committed to the Terps out of high school but backed out and signed with Texas after Gary Williams retired.
