Stella Johnson scores a career-high 25 points in Mystics’ win over the Dream

Washington Mystics guard Stella Johnson scored a career-high 25 points in their 98-91 win over the Atlanta Dream on Wednesday night.

She didn’t do it by taking 30 shots. She did it in just 13 attempts, where she shot 8-of-13 overall. In addition, Johnson also shot 6-of-9 from deep range.

The Mystics have played the first season in shock from the absences of many key players like Elena Delle Donne, Tina Charles, Natasha Cloud and LaToya Sanders. And Aerial Powers is out due to a hamstring injury. Since Johnson has been re-signed, here’s hoping that we’ll continue to see her put up impactful performances as the Mystics enter the second half of the 2020 season.
