Washington Wizards guard Landry Shamet is an unrestricted free agent after Washington put him on waivers last week by declining his option. And there are no shortage of teams who are interested in him.
According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Milwaukee Bucks, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves and New York Knicks have expressed interest in signing him. In addition, Shamet is open to re-signing with the Wizards.
Shamet averaged 7.1 points per game for Washington in 46 appearances during the 2023-24 NBA season. He averaged 38.4 percent shooting from the three point line during his career which makes him one of the more in-demand shooters who are still available in free agency.
