Rumor Central: Reduced role irked Hawks' Dwight Howard

Atlanta Hawks starting center Dwight Howard played just 26.2 minutes per contest in the team's six-game, first-round series loss against the Washington Wizards. Saturday, during his exit interview with the media, the 13-year NBA veteran let it be known he wan't happy with his reduced role.

"It was very difficult," Howard told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I want to play. I want to be out on the floor. I want to make a difference. I want to make an impact, and I can’t do that on the bench."
