The Washington Wizards season that seemingly couldn’t get any worse just did: Reports are that John Wall will undergo season-ending surgery on his left heel, which has limited him over the past several months.
Wall has already missed four games this season, including Friday’s loss against the Chicago Bulls. The Wizards are 1-3 in those games, with their only win coming in triple overtime against the Phoenix Suns.
Last season, Wall missed 41 games after a procedure on his left knee.
This is undoubtedly a major blow to the team’s outlook for an already-disappointing 2018-2019 campaign.
