On Tuesday, Basketball Belgium announced that Lyon guard Julie Allemand cannot play in the 2024 Olympics in France due to injury. Castors Braine guard Nastja Claessens will replace her.

For the Cats, I don’t see this affecting their medal chances very much. Washington Mystics guard Julie Vanloo will be starting and play at the point guard position anyway.
