The Washington Wizards signed multiple wing players this off-season — most notably Kelly Oubre, Jared Dudley and Alan Anderson — which left some wondering what would happen to their free agents.
Drew Gooden and Garrett Temple were the only players that Washington re-signed from their team, and the latter had a player-option. Gooden’s emergence in the NBA Playoffs as the team’s stretch four got him a raise to over $3 million this summer.
Temple exercised his option, opting to re-join the Washington Wizards instead of testing his value as a free agent.
