Aaron White, who was picked 49th overall by the Washington Wizards, isn’t expected to play in the NBA anytime soon. After a poor string of performances in the NBA Summer League, White showed that he isn’t quite ready to play at the next level.
With that said, Ernie Grunfeld drafted Aaron White knowing that the former Iowa standout wouldn’t make the team this upcoming season.
White had an outside chance at making the roster and his performances certainly didn’t help his chances. Washington currently has 15 players under contract, so they would have to release a player or find a trade for Aaron White to have a spot on the team.
