John Wall hasn’t missed a game due to injury in about two years.
Last night against the Atlanta Hawks, though, Wall’s streak ended.
After trying to soften his fall in Game-1, Wall landed awkwardly on his hand, but was able to continue playing and eventually led the Washington Wizards to victory.
Wall’s hand/wrist was evaluated twice and he doesn’t have any breaks nor fractures. It was announced that he’d play in Game-2, but right before tip-off, Wall and the team doctors decided it was best if he sat out.
