The Wizards have made moves over the weekend to acquire Trey Burke from the Utah Jazz and sign 2012 second round draft pick Tomas Satoransky. Since both play in the backcourt, it should be no surprise that it looks like Ramon Sessions would likely be taking his talents elsewhere.
Today, that happened, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical. The journeyman guard will sign a two-year $12.5 million contract with the Charlotte Hornets, who he played for in parts of the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons.
Sessions was traded to Washington in 2015 from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Andre Miller to serve as the team’s backup point guard.
