The Washington Wizards are starting to make some more moves with their players who are entering free agency. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Richaun Holmes declined his $12.8 million player option for the 2024-25 season. However, he will re-sign with the Wizards for two years and a total of $25.9 million.

Wizards center Richaun Holmes has declined his $12.8 million player option in order to sign a new two-year, $25.9 million deal with the team through 2025-26 season, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Only $250,000 out of $13.3M is guaranteed for 2025-26.
