The Portland Trail Blazers selected guard Carlton “Bub” Carrington to close out the lottery during the 2024 NBA Draft. Based on the reports of a trade centered around Deni Avdija and the No. 14 pick earlier today, Carrington will likely be headed to the Washington Wizards.
Carrington is a 6’4” guard with a 6’8” wingspan who was a certified bucket-getter during his freshman year at Pittsburgh. He averaged 13.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists across 33 games as the second option behind senior guard Blake Hinson.
Carrington is one of the youngest players in this year’s draft class.
