Following a blowout victory over the Dallas Wings on Saturday, the Mystics completed the weekend sweep, taking home a 92-84 victory, their fourth of the season.
Dallas’ Natasha Howard went off in the first half, dropping 20 points on 2-2 from three. Her counterpart, Arike Ogunbowale, kept pace with 15 points of her own, leading Dallas into the halftime break with a five-point cushion.
Stefanie Dolson led Washington in the opening half with eight points, snatching four boards to keep her squad close. Despite the Mystics drilling eight of their 17 first-half three-point attempts, Dallas’ distinct 22-12 advantage on the glass was the difference maker.
