The Washington Mystics (1-12) are currently the worst team in the WNBA, and it’s not really close. They lost 14 straight (season and preseason combined) coming into Tuesday’s game against the Dream in Atlanta. And redemption finally came for their first victory of the season.
Can they now string together another one and get their first win at home in front of the home crowd? They still have faith in the coaching staff, but that could definitely change soon if a couple of wins don’t start accumulating in the W column. They did get Sykes back from injury on Tuesday, and that definitely showed (18 points and a very good game overall) but Shakira Austin remains sidelined.
