The Mystics got back on track with an impressive 88-72 win over the Sky on Friday night, in which they made 11 of their 23 shots from downtown while limiting Chicago to just 4-of-21 shooting from the same range.
Even though the Mystics had a clear shooting advantage and controlled the glass, the Sky still made the game tense at times. Washington and Chicago played to a virtual draw in the first and third quarters, but the Mystics made their mark in the other two quarters, where they outscored Chicago by 17.
Elena Delle Donne and Ariel Atkins did the heavy lifting for the Mystics on both of their big runs.
