Elena Delle Donne had a rough start, shooting just 1 of 8 in the first half when Washington led 38-30. But Delle Donne had a stronger game on the assists end where she dished seven and ultimately scored 13 points.
For Indiana, Natalie Achonwa scored 21 points while Kelsey Mitchell added 16 more.
The key to the Mystics’ win was three pointers. The Mystics made 11 of 25 shots from deep, overcoming a 39-27 rebounding deficit.
