The Mystics started training camp earlier this week. With the Capitals starting their second-round playoff series against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, several players -- Ivory Latta, Stefanie Dolson, Natasha Cloud, and Ally Malott -- sat in the lower level, rocking the red for the hockey team.
Of course, knowing how much energy Latta has on the court, she shared this video as well.
The Capitals won the game in overtime, 4-3 to take a 1-0 lead in the series. T.J. Oshie scored a hat trick for Washington, including the game-winning goal.
There certainly is a case to be made that quality WNBA organizations don't have to be owned by NBA team owners, or play in NBA arenas.
