The Washington Mystics entered Saturday night as the only winless WNBA team after the Indiana Fever won 78-73 against the Los Angeles Sparks last night. Unfortunately, things remained that way after they lost 101-69 to the Seattle Storm earlier tonight.
Washington began this game with a rough first half as they allowed the Storm to go on a 12-0 run. If it weren’t for Julie Vanloo scoring 9 of her 12 points in the first quarter, the Mystics would have been out of this game from the very beginning. Ultimately, the Mystics were down 50-41 after the first half so they had some shot.
