In a slog of a game, the Mystics pulled out their third-consecutive win against the Chicago Sky by a final score of 74-70. Chicago turned the ball enough to keep the Mystics offense working but made up for it with a big rebounding advantage. Washington’s hot three-point shooting got them a 10-point lead late in the first half. Chicago fought back until they could take the lead heading into the 4th quarter. During a back-and-forth final frame, Washington finally took the lead after an Aaliyah Edwards steal-and-score with 1:24 left. Brittney Sykes sealed the game with a rebound off a missed free throw with 3 seconds remaining.
