The Washington Mystics lost to the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday, 98-77.
For the 2nd time in a week, the Mystics go toe-to-toe with the two-time defending champions, Aces. This time around, the Mystics struggled to stop the Aces’ offense. Aces were able to get their guards like Jackie Young and Kelsey Plum going early. Kelsey Plum torched the Mystics with four first-half threes, finishing with a game-high six made threes. That was part of the Aces’ attack as they finished the first half with 56 percent shooting from the field and 46 percent from behind the arc.
