On Tuesday, before the Washington Mystics’ playoff game against the Phoenix Mercury, the WNBA announced that forward Myisha Hines-Allen was named the league’s Eastern Conference Player of the Month.
In September, Hines-Allen averaged 19.7 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in seven contests where Washington went 5-2. This included a four-game win streak that allowed them to clinch the final playoff berth.
