ARLINGTON, Va. — Kettler Capitals Iceplex has been renamed to MedStar Capitals Iceplex, and the new arena in St. Elizabeths East Campus in Southeast Washington will be named the MedStar Wizards Performance Center.
These naming rights changes are part of an expanded partnership between Monumental Sports and Entertainment and MedStar Health, announced Monday morning at the iceplex.
In addition to serving as the Washington Wizards’ new practice facility, MedStar Wizards Performance Center will become the home of the Washington Mystics and new G League team Capital City Go-Go. The arena is planned to open in the fall, in time for the Go-Go’s first season.
