The Washington Wizards saw their season come to an end on Friday with a 102-92 Game 6 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, but Wizards forward Markieff Morris doesn't believe the series is indicative of the teams' talents.
After the loss, Morris—who averaged 9.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in the first round—made it known, via ABC 7 News' Erin Hawksworth, that he felt his team was better than its opponent: "Sometimes the better teams don't win."
Nevermind the fact the Raptors (59-23) finished the regular season with the best record in the Eastern Conference, a whopping 16 games ahead of the Wizards (43-39).
