On Tuesday, the Wizards hosted six prospects for pre-draft workouts. They are Raasean Davis (NC Central), Garrison Mathews (Lipscomb), Matt Morgan (Cornell), Marcquise Reed (Clemson), BJ Stith (Old Dominion) and James Thompson IV (Eastern Michigan).
Of the prospects, Reed and Stith are the most notable. Reed was a redshirt senior who averaged double figure scoring in each of his four seasons in college (2014-15 with Robert Morris and 2016-17 to 2018-19 for Clemson). Reed also went to St. Vincent Palotti High School in Landover, Md. and Capital Christian Academy in Upper Marlboro, Md. While in college, Reed scored over 2,000 career points and has been a strong all-around shooting guard where he averaged 19.
