Marcin Gortat scored 19 points and Bradley Beal added 17 to help the Washington Wizards rout Brazil’s Paschoalotto Bauru 134-100 on Sunday night.
The Wizards pulled away with a 16-2 run in the second quarter. They led by 20 at intermission and had a 101-68 edge after three quarters.
After going 4 of 23 from 3-point range Friday night in a loss to New York, the Wizards found their range. They shot 57.1 percent (48 of 84) from the field, including 43.3 percent (13 of 30) on 3-pointers.
Drew Gooden had 15 points, going 3 of 6 from 3-point range.
