Len Bias, Peter Bondra among Washington DC Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2018

The late University of Maryland basketball star Len Bias, longtime NBA player Grant Hill and Washington Capitals winger Peter Bondra were named to the Washington DC Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2018 on Tuesday.

The class of 10 inductees will be honored May 6 at Nationals Park prior to a Washington Nationals game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

The full class is as follows:

  • Marty Aronoff, longtime Washington Wizards statistician
  • Len Bias, late University of Maryland basketball star
  • Peter Bondra, former Washington Capitals winger
  • Steve Buckhantz, longtime Washington Wizards play-by-play broadcaster
  • Grant Hill, former Duke University and NBA star
  • Jaime Moreno, former D.
